A Tale of Three Trees...

Three kids = Three Trees.
Three very different trees for three very different kids.
A sports tree, a fishing tree, and a very prissy tree.

A Sporting Tale

Glass blown ornaments combined with a few nutcrackers make for a very athletic tree for a very athletic boy.
I used a remnant of blue ticking as a tree skirt.

A Fishing Tale

A green tinsel tree with a collection of bobbers and lures makes or a fun tree for an avid fisherman.
A net is the only choice for this tree.
The starfish and shark jaw are a few
of this boys favorite treasures.

A Very Prissy Tale

A pink flocked tree with tons of antique silk beaded ornaments, a flamingo, ballet dancer and few french touches make for a very prissy tree.  Yes, that sums up my girl!

Those trees fit my kids to a tee!  The best part is that it makes them extremely happy to come home and find their rooms all decked out for Christmas.

I like your Tale of Three Trees! Over the years my kids have had trees in their rooms. I love doing this. Some years we do, some we don't!
I love that each child has his/her own theme!

Lacy, what great themed trees. Love the net at the bottom of the fisherman tree. My fave is the prissy one. I love the color of her walls, too.

How neat that you decorate the three trees for your kids. I bet they'll love having those ornaments and the sweet memories attached to them in their own homes one day.

How Adorable, my son is a Univ. of Florida alumni,
and of course, loves the gators, and would love that tree and the one with the fishing ornaments
as well, and the shark teeth.........well be careful my son was bit by a shark when he was about 10 yrs. old in the backseat of our car....with shark teeth just like that!! Seriously!!
and your daughters tree would have been well liked my daughter too, she loved bears when she was little. They are all very cute and unique.
Very nice idea!!
Blessings for a Wonderful Christmas Season,
Nellie

Hi Lacy! What darling trees! I especially love the prissy one and have a girl at my house who would adore it! She keeps pointing out all of the pink and purple trees in the store (usually the neon ones!) and so I have a feeling one is in our future! :-)

Oh -- this is excellent! What a treat. Now I, of course, favor, the pink one, but must admit that the sports and fishing trees are pretty awsome too! You're amazing. Thank you so much for sharing on the Boardwalk Bragfest!

I love all 3 trees but the fishing lures is my favorite. I think it's the reds and beachy theme that most appeals. Take care.
