Not only have I been busy getting my house ready for Christmas, but I have had the privilege of helping a few other families get their home's ready too! I have had a blast playing with someone else's Christmas decor.
I have decked out a total of 11 trees this season.
Part 1:
Cathy's house is amazing. I used to help her with her tree when I was a kid. She has always had amazing taste and makes everything so much fun. You are guaranteed to laugh when she is around. Add two of the cutest dogs and a good time will be had by all!
The wood floors take my breath away!
The tree was already put up with the ornaments.
I came in and added some red flowers,
ribbon and the topper.
All the items used were found from around her house.
This silk beaded ornament was made in the late 60's by a friend of our family.
My Grandmother and Cathy's mom both had a collection of these.
I don't have this ornament, but Cathy has promised it to me.
I don't want her to forget, so this will be her reminder!!!
The red flowers really add a nice pop of color.
The ribbon adds softness to the tree.
Red mesh intertwined with ivory ribbon and jingle bell garland adorn the mantle. A skinny soldier and angel flank each side of the TV.
A fun centerpiece in the dining room.
Molly
and Madison supervised.
Two kissing balls and this amazing kissing crystal are beautifully hanging in the kitchens pass through.
Isn't this amazing!!
And I was lucky enough to bring one home with me!
Now I have to decide where to put it!
Thank you Cathy!
I had so much fun helping you with your house!
Another fun house is coming tomorrow!

What a beautiful home. It was great that Cathy let us enjoy all her lovely decor. Molly & Madison are two of the cutest decorations there.
Lacy it looks beautiful. Cathy's home is gorgeous and Molly and Madison look like sweethearts.
I remember those beaded ornaments. Ben Franklin (dime store) had kits for them if I remember correctly. Ben Franklin was the go to place for craftiness, before Michael's came along.:-)
What a beautiful job you did Lacy! The home is already gorgeous and you just took it to the next level! How fun to get to go get creative at someone else's house. :-)
