Feeling Springy!

Ok I am a little late getting with the season!  My kids play baseball and softball and my hubby coaches, so my spare time is full of other domestic duties!  I woke up this morning bound and determined to bring some Spring into my dining room.  Let me start with saying that my house is small. My living room, kitchen and eating space is all open to each other.  I choose to call it my dining room.  It should be called the catch all, homework and craft station, cat lounging area, etc....Anyways, out with the silver and white and in with fun green and white and a few bunnies thrown in for good measure.

Bordallo pottery, Ironstone and a few other favorites!

I love this piece from Princess House

This foam piece of cake is so realistic!  My kids friends always think it is real!

I am linking up to Tabletop Tuesdays with Marty A Stroll Thru Life.  Take the time to visit her and all the other blogger showing off their beautiful creations.
Hope you enjoyed!  I know I did!  I would love to hear your comments!  And while you are here, become a follower!

Lacy!

Oh I love your hutch. I so wish I had room for one. You have everything displayed so beautifully. I love the way you stack some of the dishes and the bordello is gorgeous. The bee dish is so cute too. That little tassel is perfect. Your Princess House covered dish and tureen are beautiful and I also spied a fantastic ironstone pitcher. You really have arranged a lovely vignette. Thank you so much for joining the party. Great inspiration. Hugs, Marty

You have such beautiful things! I especially love that fabric in the back of your cabinet. Your dishes look great and that tassel is just adorable. I have those same bunny salt and pepper shakers on my kitchen hutch. Thanks for sharing!

Lacy~Your china cabinet is fantastic. I love the fact that you have the inside of it backed with fabric or is that wallpaper?? Anyway, you have decorated it so nicely, the green and white looks fabulous in it! Also, I scrolled down and looked at your burlap pillow post, I really like that idea. :) Of course I'll become a follower!

So is that cloth that lines your hutch? I could not live with a piece of chocolate cake (fake or real) always there to remind me of the temptations of chocolate delights!! I am trying to break my addiction.....it is going to be very hard ;-(

my post is not on my nannykim blog but on my spindlecottage blog here: http://spindlecottage.blogspot.com

Hi Lacy, nice to meet you! From what I can see, I can tell I'm gonna love your style! First of all, that hutch is incredible! I love that you lined the back with fabric. Love the green platter (I have it too!) and the chickenwire instead of glass. Thanks for following me. I'm now a follower. Come by and visit again soon!

Thanks for stopping by! I really like the way you used fabric in the back of your hutch -- it is a nice custom touch.

Love all your spring things!! My living space is all open too, and it's really nice for gathering because everyone ends up in the kitchen so you might as well have a big open space!
