A Fresh Face Lift

I am always amazed at how paint can change the life of piece of furniture or accessory.  Something old or boring has the chance to become outstanding and really add life to a space.  I have had this tray on my  coffee table for over 7 years now.  I found the tray on clearance at Target and had to have it.  It has always blended in with the finish of the table. Boring!!  Not any more, you may actually remember this little tray now.

Here it is before.  You may have to look hard!

And now after some white paint, distressed and green highlights:

A much needed pop of color!
So what do you think?

Love the power of paint and that anyone can do it. The distressing and the little touch of green is just fabulous.

I love it! Something so simple yet such a big impact. It really pops now. It's great that you can take something you loved in the first place and make all fresh and new again with a little paint. And then you love it all over again!
