Eclectic But Yet Traditional Tablescape

Playing it safe is always easy, but I like to shake it up from time to time.  I really like adding something funky with classic.  Add a large lime green pussy willow ball with Lenox Moonspun china, throw in some fall florals and of course a feather to get a eclectic but yet traditional tablescape.

First, I feel old. My own wedding crystal is Moonspun by Lenox. LOL. It's LOVELY and looks beautiful on this table with the very elegant china. What I'm enthralled with is that pussy willow centerpiece! I have never seen anything like it. It's stunning!

Like Debbie (earlier comment), I have the Lenox Moonspun crystal, and my Lenox Windsong china is the same shape as your mother's featured here. I love the way you've modernized it with the organic elements! Great job!

You've skillfully blended your Mom's lovely Lenox Moonspun china with contemporary accents to create a beautiful and quite sophisticated design. Thank you for sharing your charming tablescape. Cherry Kay

Hi Lacy,

Very dramatic and sophisticated. I really like the way you've combined elegant pieces with organic ones. Nicely done, and your photographs capture it all beautifully.

Your mom's china is wonderful -- I thought, "Lenox!" when I got the first glimpse of it. There's no mistaking that warm color, transluscence, cup shape, and heavily banded platinum rim. It looks great on your table!

Hope your weekend goes well.

Stopping by here and I smiled right away. I love taking something traditional and interjecting that unexpected element and that is exactly what you have done. I'm a fan of your look and I loved your images.

Wow this looks amazing and you're such a great photographer! I had no idea you were the one who ordered on of the pussywillow balls from my retail website. Thank you for the mention! Those ball have been popular and they are a good alternative to the preserved boxwood because they are such a good price! I love the back lit china cabinet too!
