I have been making signs for a while now.
I haven't even posted about most of them. I have three in the works right now! For some reason painting has become a calming time for me and I need all the calm I can get.
So what does Jesus & Germs have to do with signs? Stick with me..
I found this wall decor at Hobby Lobby in the clearance isle for $5. The board is made out of MDF.
I knew that this would be perfect for a particular sign I had in mind.
SOLD!!!
I simply slapped two coats of paint on the top.
I did not tape off the edges, I wanted the raw splattered look. Next I cut stencils out using my Cricut.
I used scrap vinyl I had. The vinyl was laid on the board and the letters were traced with a pencil.
Easy, Easy, Easy!
This should be every mom's motto!

I saw this on Pinterest and the link goes to Etsy and the person wants $80 for it. Good gravy! I like the original spoon art you got for $5 and would have been afraid to paint over it. But obviously you're an artist and it turned out lovely and better than the etsy one.
