Basket Makeover

Meet my sad little basket and it's dull finish.
I purchased this at Goodwill a while back.  I love the shape and size.

My little magazine basket got a fresh makeover today.

A little green paint and a wipe down of dark stain really gave it a new life.
I have a few other pieces that I am working on to help them stand out a little more.
The armoire in behind the basket may get a face lift too!

The Spring weather has made me want a fresher look!

I am linking up with these parties!  Go by and visit them!

Love the color of your basket. I have a basket that could use a coat of paint, too. I like how you used the stain to give it definition. I came over from BNOTP today. I have a recipe linked there.

Well I have several baskets that are put away because they look horrible (I never throw anything away) so now I know exactly what to do with them. Great idea, and yours looks great! Thanks for coming by earlier. Gotta go dig some baskets out and decide what color to do them in.
