What's Pink and Black & White All Over???

Molly's room, of course.  Here's what I have been up to:
  • I bought a chair at an antique store for $40.  I painted it white and re-covered the seat.
  • The white frame above Molly's desk is now a bulletin board.
  • Paper maiche letters were painted and accented with black grosgrain ribbon and sit above her closet doors.
  • A mirror was painted white and hung up (pics to come later).
  • An "M" was hung on her bedroom door.

Fifi loves the changes.  And I love that she matches!

A lot of changes will be coming this week.
Let me know what you think.  I would love to hear what you think of the room so far.

While you are here, take a look around!

  5. Looks great! In fact, it reminds me of my little granddughter's room that is done in black & hot pink. Daughter and I painted horizontal stripes in light pink & hot pink (matches a VS bag) and went with those colors throughout her room. I've never posted her room cause it's never been quite finished but hopefully we'll get it done "one of these days" if our schedules ever slow down enough to get it finished!

  11. Wow, the room is ooh la la!!! I love the chair and all the cute details. I saw a chair like this at an antique store the other day and now I'm thinking I need to go back and see if it's still there (the price was right) It's amazing what paint can do. Lucky Molly --- is she loving it?

  12. Althogh I'm more of a pastel gal, I do love black and white together. The other day I was drooling over a black and white sofa at HomeGoods, but couldn't justify buying it even though I liked it so much. I like plaid too, so I really like your look. Great makeover on the chair!

  18. This chair is so chic and I adore black and white check...especially this size. I have a tuffet I made on auction on eBay that has what looks like this same material! Too cute.

  19. I love it!!! That chair is fabulous! But one suggestion...you might want to think about adding some black glaze to the details on that chair. It would really make them pop! Looks great as is but I think that would really just play up the details!
