Spode Tablescape

Spode Christmas Tree is my Christmas china of choice.  I love the simplicity that it offers.  You can dress it up with other patterns, gold or silver.  Speciality pieces of the pattern allow you to mix it up a little more.  I chose to dress it up with Lenox Moonspun and add some color with a dressy red placemat. Fresh greens, Fostoria crystal bowl, cranberries and candles make for a simple yet elegant centerpiece.

  3. Hi Lacy,
what a lovely table, so very pretty. I have wanted to use cranberries to decorate and was wondering how long they last??
I also have the same Christmas dishes, and I really enjoy mine as well. They belonged to my late mother-in-law, so that makes them more special.
All your pics are beautiful, enjoyed my time here very much!
May you have a very Special Christmas Season,
    Blessings, Nellie

  13. How I wish I had some of those Spode dishes! You are so right about being about to dress them up or use them in more casual settings - love how you've made a fancier look. Your centerpiece is lovely with the votives surrounding the pillar.
